Built on a Personal Experience

Rich is an InterNACHI certified home inspector and licensed Master Electrician with years of hands on experience working on homes throughout Maine. His extensive background in electrical systems gives him a level of technical knowledge and practical experience that most home inspection companies simply cannot offer.

He founded Elevated Home Inspections after experiencing firsthand, and hearing repeatedly from others, the frustration that can come from inspections that feel rushed, superficial, and filled with vague disclaimers rather than meaningful information. Too often, buyers are left discovering serious problems only after closing on their home.

That experience became personal after Rich purchased his own home. Following the inspection, he later uncovered major issues that had not been identified and ultimately spent more than $30,000 on unexpected repairs. What should have been an exciting milestone quickly became a stressful and expensive situation. That experience changed the way he viewed the home inspection industry and became the foundation for Elevated Home Inspections.

Rich built this company to be the alternative to that experience.
